T3Bunny, 1977 VW Rabbit, Turbo ABA

Over the years I have built and or assisted with building and MegaSquirting a LOT of Volkswagens (and many other marque too). In fact for many years, I did this and built harnesses and ECUs as my main job! I have owned enough myself, I can't easily count them. But when I water it down to the ones th...

Re: update

...And we are looking at this VW GT I got, it definatly can use a MS... Wow I have to laugh at this and muse how things have gone full circle! That VW GT did in fact get MegaSquirted, and a VR6 dumped into it. I laugh because that very same V3.0 ecu that ran the GT, as of tonight is now back in ope...

Re: Rico Monroy 1981 VW rabbit L T3 turbo MS-1 V2.2

HEY EMAIL ME THEN! You said the magick words Rico! There are some good tricks for doing water injection. Aquamist is the way to go! Unfortunatly their systems usally cost more than us poor VW owners spend on the car itself. Richard Lamb (from Aquamist) helped me sort out how to integrate the M...

Re: vr6 supercharged msII v3.0 barely

So it appears your using the stock VR6 coilpack. Did you modify it and remove the power stage / ignitor module from it? Using VB921s you need to pull that out and attach to the coils directly, or it will give you issues around 4k rpm... Humm lol. To clarify for anyone reading this that doesn't know,...

I wonder why they let off the throttle so early... I bet there is still more power in that engine!

I have lost track of the number of installs I have done now. I realy can't imagine living without an MS system anymore! In fact tonight I started in ernest on MS-ing my other car, an Audi 90 Quattro. She will be the second one I have done this month too. The main reason for this install is the compl...

Seriously guys I have done several dozen MS installs on VW's. If the engine is timed correctly and the wires are on right, a trigger angle of 62 degrees starts and runs dead on EVERYTIME. If your trigger angle isn't 62, something is goofed up. I almost NEVER have to adjust the timing either on the d...
