Yep.. http://kptuned.com/2008/07/11/stockab/ We don't mess around about drag racing 8)

Took one of my spare V2.2's and threw it on there, worked out pretty good.

I run high 12's with a 105/106mph trap, shouldn't be a problem with yours.

You have very good 60ft times and your car is light.
My thing was fully bogged down with support gear and std road tires.
Plan to revisit the pod when I get the chance. There is more to come.

60's are low 1.7's and the cars arent' that light, mine is 2450 with driver. Though I don't go messing with street tires and lugging all my junk with me down the track!

2450lbs is the weight of a MK2 with driver!! I have weighed my daily MK3 VR6 with A/C at 2827lbs without driver. So with good sticky tires and lots of low down torque from a huffed Vr6 no wonder your 60ft times are approx 1 sec faster than my rubbish start. Good benchmark target numbers though. I dont think I would better those launch numbers with compromising the comfort of the vehicle or running 4WD. But we will see what can be done soon.

My Mk2 was heavier at 2550lbs with driver. I think the heaviest I ever raced my car was 2650 with driver, which is 'mild' weight reduction and street wheels/tires.

I've been able to cut 1.89-1.92 60's on drag radials (DOT rated) and have cut 1.97-2.0x 60's with regular 205/50/15 street tires.

Don't think about compromising, just get some sticky rubber and use it!
