Converted from MS1-Extra and would highly recommend it to other MS1 users. Still a lot of tuning to do but this base will get you going fast. Conversion notes:

1) Added Jumper wire from S12C to JS9 (Per MS2 Hardware assembly notes V3 board)
2) Changed Jumper that was “TSEL to VROUTINV” to “TSEL to VROUT”
3) Retained Crystal, Y1
4) Noise Filtering "On", Tach Period Rejection "On"; .1MS Time, 10%

Other:
- MS2-Extra 3.1.1
- Innovate LM-1 mimicking LC-1
- Speed density algorithm
- Siemens Deka 60lbs injectors
- A1000 Fuel pump
- A1000 Fuel pressure regulator set to 35psi base fuel pressure with boost port connected for 1:1 rising rate.
- 400KPA map sensor
- OEM coilpack w/o control module
- Autolite 3923 gapped to .024
- OBD1 TB
- Schimmel Short runner intake
- Autotech 262 cams
- Garrett T04Z, .96ar undivided hotside
- 3" turbo back w/hi flow catalyst
- Tial 35mm Wastegate/50mm BOV
- 9:1 compression
- 20lbs boost

Happy Hunting!

Hi Lapkritis,

I've started the migration from OEM ecu to a MSQUIRT2 ecu because of turbo config.

I have one doubt, I've already heared that VR6 have:
hall sensor for crank speed, your mods are more "online" with a VR sensor config.
a trigger angle of 90° BTDC, in your msq I could read 78°

Could help/explain to me if there any difference between US and European version

Thanks for your help!

romano.

The crank position sensor on the vr6 is a vr sensor. The cam position sensor on the vr6 is a hall sensor. My installation here is utilizing the crank position sensor only with fuel wired by bank. Trigger angle is correct at 78°... I am unfamiliar with any 90° applications.

Here is my latest MSQ good to 23psi on MS 3.3Alpha5 code which is the latest release as of this posting.

I'm talking of a AAA european version. One coil and distributor, speed sensor from crank had 3 pins

Is there a major difference between US and EUROPEAN version?

Romain.
