I can probably report that this project is now a success.
Using all stock sensors and ignition inc. the denso dizzy.
It goes very well. The assembly, setup and tuning were pleasureable / easy, although there were a few frustrating bits. As with many other MS'ers, 99% of my problems were caused by me, because I hadn't read the instructions, or didn't understand something. There is plenty of help and info out there - probably too much info to wade thru.
As long as you are systematic in your approach with sorting problems and have some technical and electronics ability you'll be fine.
I have written a how to which will be hosted by DIY autotune.
I used:
Zeal board for second VR, thou you have to add an extra cap.
Ignition input is as per the MS extra denso instructions.
Ignition output is set to normal, not inverted.
The ignitor controls dwell, so fixed dwell and 10% duty cycle.
3 wire idle circuit (dosn't work that well at the mo).
VVT programable output comes in @ 3500.
Max advance is 44 in low load areas and 35 in the hi load above 3000rpm. It has not been dyno tuned as yet.
I used a Tech edge wideband controller (built as a kit).

The Autotune tool in Megatune was excellent at roughing out a map and the tuning and analysis tools in Megalogviewer also very very good.

Here is a thread outlining my progress.

All I need now is some big cams at a small price so we can make some reasonable HP.

MSQ supplied as a referance only.
There is a few things to change in this MSQ. Fixed duty dwell is probably not right - but seems to work.

Hi patrick! Did you dyno tune this baby yet? What where the results? Did the ign map change much?
Cheers!

Good question.
No, I didn't dyno it, I sold the car. He has dyno'ed it and the tuner said he got about another 10hp - where he found it, I don't know! Although it wasn't running right when he took it in.

Here is the thread of the new owner, maybe you can ask him to post his MSQ.
His name is Neil, he might be lurking on this forum, thou not sure.
