I think it would be better if you could get some multi nozzle (more finely atomised) injectors for a more forward location, which should get a faster throttle response, but the debate is whether you need it on your old girl.

The description you provide is exactly the manner its working out now on "the lump". The Delphi's I'll have in both locations (originally purchased from DIYA) are a "multi orificed" type injectior, look to be about 8 hole perhaps.24c wrote:There used to a train of thought on old air cooled cars from yesteryear that long inlet tracts made for good atomisation, but that was using carburettors, not injectors. I should be able to have all the new parts back on the bike by weekends end here, it may even stop raining for a few hours here and there such that I can road test it.
