This is my 79' Trans Am (note the 78' nose). I have been driving it on weekend cruises for about a year now. I'm using MS 1 v2.2 board running B&G code, fuel only, Olds 455 bored .030, (tuned with LM-1 wideband O2), Accel HEI, 1 5/8" headers, mild cam (278 deg. x .484 lift), 10.5/1 pistons, ported iron heads, undercut valves, mondello goodies, modified Edelbrock intake(for 8 30lb injectors) homemade throttle body using a quadrajet base plate with billet top, 84 corvette crossfire TPS(same rotation as a qjet), 2 1/2 inch "X" pipe, CNC engraved fuel rails (says TRANS AM), electric fan, and some fancy jeweling on some custom made aluminum interior parts(made by me- I'm a machinist). Shaker modified for outside air only. Runs way better than the old Qjet.
