1940 Plymouth coupe 360 Magnum
I bought it off my Dad's friend when medical issues prevented him from
working on it. It came with a 400 small block Chevy, 200 R4 transmission and a rear from a 60's GM. Being a Mopar fan
I knew that had to go. I got it on the road with that combo in 3 months, in time for a few carshows at the end of summer.
During the winter I installed with the help of my brother(the Chevy fan) TPI and a megasquirt 2. I ran that for a year till I
found a Wrecked 98 Dodge Dakota Rt in the junkyard that looked like it had an argument with a telephone pole. I had already
bought a 68 roadrunner rear at Chrysler Carlisle. I already had a 518 transmission that I also got out of that same junkyard.
Found a fuel rail and regulator that wasn't return less in the junkyard. Used Gm temp sensors. Standard vacuum advance distributor.
Gm Hei 8 module for ignition but not controlled by megasquirt yet. Electric fan controlled by spare output.
Stepper motor Iac is stock and similar to Gm.
The first year out
What I like to call the blasphemy engine.
