1983 GTI, factory engine replaced with an 11:1 compression ratio 2.0 liter bottom end from a 95 Golf, ported and polished solid lifter 8 valve head, Schrick 280 cam, Jenvey/Puma Racing individual throttle bodies on a DCOE intake manifold. MegaSquirt is a version 1 board running 2.98X code. Ford 30# red top injectors. TT Race header, wrapped, into a TT 2.25" Borla exhaust system. Close ratio 2H gearbox with a Quaiffe LSD, lightened flywheel and 6 puck kevlar clutch. You might say it's responsive :shock:

On CIS injection, this motor made 128 wheel hp and 138 wheel tq, running a best of 14.76 @ 93.5mph. I'm anxious to see what the ITBs and MegaSquirt does for hp and track times.
