the problem seems to be solved no more RPM spikes
Megasquirt MS2 extra 2.1.0 running paralel to the DTA S80 to test the tacho input just power and the tacho is connected to the tacho pulse for the RPM gauge with the same circuit as used by megasquirt to generate a tacho pulse http://www.msextra.com/doc/ms2extra/MS2 ... m#tachoout with a small adaptation the tacho input from megasquirt is connected between the 12 volt 1 Kohm resistor and the transistor the gate is connected to the RPM pulse the rpm is stable and without spikes
