I bought a trigger wheel sensor from 034motorsports. They substituted the 60-2 wheel for a 36-1 to run edis. A little pricey, but a nice balanced wheel made to bolt up.

so it replaces the one bolted to the crank inside the ABA block? and uses the stock sensor?

The 034 sensor mounts to the crank. Its not a bolt on setup for your car. You have to change out the crank pulley to a 16v setup and with an ABA thats going to open up a whole nother pile of issues. Not to mention buying parts from 034... well lets not go there.

You have an ABA, forget about EDIS and use direct coil control. EDIS on a boosted application is not ideal anyways. You want full spark and fuel control. With EDIS you can't cut ignition.

You will idealy need to run a V3.0 ECU forVR sensor and direct coil control. A V2.2 can be modified too...

I've been successfully running my boosted ABA on MS and EDIS for over two years now. No issues. Runs really well and am satisfied with the results. With my current setup, I've dynoed at 202whp/210tq @ 10psi. Not too bad considering a conservative tune. I once was psyched on extracting more HP because I've seen other similar setups (not always with MS) make upwards of 250whp....but with all the wheel spin I get now, its almost useless for a street car. then i'll have to start worrying about breaking other stuff...i'm content and so far have had zero issues w/ MS
